In 2008 all nominations will be judged on a national basis, with three finalists being chosen to attend the Minister’s Awards presentation dinner. The selection panel for finalists’ short-listing and judging of the national winner will comprise senior DEEWR officers from relevant VET branches, including a state Support Services Contract Manager, and an industry representative.
The three finalists will be interviewed by the selection panel on the day of the awards to determine the national winner which will be announced on the night. The winner of the previous year’s award will also be invited to take part in the interview process to select the national winner.
The three finalists will be advised by DEEWR about awards ceremony and interviews details, with their travel, accommodation and meals at the interview and ceremony to be fully funded by DEEWR. At all stages of judging the selection panel’s decision will be final.
