Marcus Drum played in the Australian Football League (AFL) for the Fremantle Football Club between 2006 and 2009 and the Geelong Football Club from 2009 to 2011. In mid 2011, Marcus retired due to injury problems and joined Port Adelaide as a player welfare manager.

Now a graduate of AFL SportsReady, Marcus Drum is building a career beyond the game, thanks to his traineeship where he completed a Certificate III in Sports Career Oriented Participation.
