Certificate III and IV in Business Administration

Sandy Beaton has completed a Certificate III and IV in Business Administration. During her traineeship with the Rural City of Murray Bridge, Sandy demonstrated exceptional organisational and communication skills while working across a variety of departments, with a focus on volunteer management. After completing her traineeship, Sandy secured full-time employment with a local accounting firm.

Sandy plans to go on to study at university and pursue a career in business. Having experienced mental health issues and living independently since she was 16, Sandy hopes to be a positive role model for other young people facing mental health issues.

Sandy was recognised for her outstanding contribution to vocational education and training at the 2017 Australian Training Awards where she was a finalist for the Australian Apprentice (Trainee) of the Year Award after being named winner of this category in her home state of South Australia.
