Zoe Dick was always interested in techniques that rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit.
It made sense that a career in beauty therapy was going to be her chosen vocation.
"There is nothing better than working in an environment that allows you to make people feel and look great," Zoe said.
"Seeing people feel fabulous about themselves, and feel better, inside and out, gives me so much motivation.
"I love coming to work each day."
Zoe commenced her journey as a beauty therapist with work experience at South Australian salon, Evella Skin and Body in Waikerie.
When her employer realised Zoe’s natural ability in beauty therapy, she offered her a traineeship.
Zoe has completed a Certificate III in Beauty Services and is undertaking the Certificate IV to complete her training.
"Completing an Australian Apprenticeship has been challenging sometimes, but ultimately it’s incredibly rewarding," Zoe said.
"I am so grateful for all the chances I’ve had to learn and develop my skills in beauty therapy."
Zoe was a finalist in the Australian Apprentice (Trainee) of the Year Award at the Australian Training Awards in 2011.
