In June 2016 the Department of Education and Training commissioned Ithaca Group to undertake research exploring the reasons for the success of Indigenous students undertaking an ASbA. Ithaca Group was also asked to identify the conditions necessary for successful participation. The final report, A kick-start in life and career: Participation by Indigenous students in Australian School-based Apprenticeships has been received by the Department and can be viewed here.
