$1 billion JobTrainer Fund providing free or low-fee courses
The Australian Government is funding free or low-fee training courses across the nation for job seekers and young people, including school leavers, through its JobTrainer Fund.
The Australian Government has partnered with state and territory governments to establish the $1 billion JobTrainer Fund. The Australian Government will provide $500 million to the Fund, with matched contributions from state and territory governments.
If you’re leaving school or looking for work, JobTrainer is your opportunity to study free or low-fee courses. You can study for an accredited diploma, certificate or short course.
The courses are being rolled out on a state-by-state basis.
Under the JobTrainer package, the Supporting Apprentices and Trainees wage subsidy is also available to small and medium-sized businesses employers to retain apprentices and trainees in work.
Find out more information and what courses are available in your state or territory on the Your Career website.
